Can you rent a camper? The answer is yes!
RV, motorhome, and airstream rentals are available across the country. You can typically drive them anywhere in the U.S. and often into Canada. There are thousands of options in sizes and features, from the smallest and most spartan to the largest and most luxurious.
Besides renting a camper and taking it wherever you wish, you can also rent them on-site at some campgrounds. While you cannot drive off with these campers, they do afford you the convenience of motorhome life without the extra costs. Below are five just such sites for your next camping trip.

5. Heyburn State Park, Idaho
The oldest state park in the Pacific Northwest, Heyburn State Park was quickly incorporated into our nation’s great network of protected areas for good reason. The area is characterized by towering Ponderosa pines that give way to flower-filled meadows and the placid waters of three lakes - Chatcolet, Benewah, and Hidden Lakes. The St. Joe River also meanders along the eastern boundary of the park. This combines to create a picturesque backdrop for fishing, paddling, swimming, wildlife watching, or exploring the area on miles of hiking and cycling trails.
Many of the park’s buildings are memorable in and of themselves, with much of it created by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s. Can you rent a camper? Sure can! Each of the two campers is a single room with three beds that can sleep up to 5 people.
